Not a good Single Player Game

Though playing arcade part of the game can be fun with friends overall this game is boring and gameplay is not the best. The Campaign mode story line is good but leads much to be desired.

A good game

Good game, lots of action, and fun to play. One thing though, hunting in a cave is hard because in some spots you can't see at all. The game had a good story to it but I finished the game in 2 days. The galleries are fun to play. My favorite gallery is survival mode with more than one player.

My honest review

First off, this is a very good idea for a Cabelas game. They actually made a gun for it. I was really excited to try it out. I got it home and put it together. Lets start off with the storyline. It can best be described in one word, amazing. It is very good and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Next we will talk a little bit about the gun controller. At first glimpse it seems really good but when you start playing it and try moving around it can get very glitchy. I got frustrated numerous times trying to turn left and right that I almost threw the controller at my flat screen tv. I eventually gave up and used the xbox controller and did so much better at the game. Final thought; this game would be a good rental without the gun controller. Next time Cabelas decides to make a gun controller for their game, please make it accurate. I couldnt even play this game for an hour without getting extremely frustrated. Thanks.

I haven't gotten very far in this game, it's definitely challenging! Wolves keep eating me. This game really keeps you on edge because everything is trying to eat you. My Fiance loves this game, I enjoy it too, but I'm not much for getting eaten all the time. I am somewhat easily frustrated and don't want to have to try much more than five times to get past something. If you also don't have a ton of patience with games, don't buy this one.
I bought the wii edition and the top shot elite is amazing. It takes some putting together but is actually easier to use than the wii zapper. It looks tons better too.
They have galleries you can unlock and different guns. The story line is pretty good also. I would buy this again I do really like it, the graphics are awesome in my opinion, wolves look really scary >.<. Not for the faint of heart!
