Shadow Hunter Silent Shadow Gun Window Kit

Open and close these shooting windows without making a sound. A smart shooting-window solution for custom-built box blinds. Simple-to-install window kit includes outer shield to keep pests and bad weather out. Inner glass uses silent glass track for soundless operation. Each kit includes drip cap, screws, FasGrip hook-and-loop, tracking and instruction DVD. Two gun window kits per box.

Poor Instructions

Purchases two window kits for a blind I am building for this upcoming season. The kits finally arrived after a three week back order and were in good condition. My issue is with the instructions; there were none! There was a DVD, but I don't have a DVD player or a TV in my truck. After viewing the DVD and taking notes at home, I went back to the blind and installed the windows. It took about three hours. I recommed you set the ouside tracks at 1-3/8 inches rather than 1 5/8 recommended on the DVD. I also found the supplied screws to be much to long for the 5/8s plywood I made my blind with. Be prepared to do some additional framing or build your blind with thicker material than I did.

Silent Hunter Window Kit

I ordered 2 window kits for my blind, [4 windows].
They were easy to install, very quiet and I think they will last a long time. Delevery was only a few days from time I ordered. Excellent product, I will be purchasing more in the future.

nice product and easy to install

too many times i have either gone without windows or tried to install flimsy plexi-glass only to have the plexi-glass crack and break and still be sitting in the cold.
these windows are fairly easy to install (even for someone machanically challenged like me) - it only took an hour for four windows.
i especially like the hard cover for the outside so the barn owls and banzai birds don't crash into the clear windows and can't get in to make a home in my stands.
they are also quiet so they won't spook game on those cold, windy days when i want to leave the windows closed.
