Big Game The Booster® Shooting Platform

  • Puts hunters above the brush
  • Use with the Free Style box blind or as a stand-alone platform
  • 7-ft. tall, 48" x 48" platform
  • 20" x 20" flip-up trap-door access
Elevated platform puts hunters above the brush. Can be used with the Free Style™ box blind, as a stand-alone platform or can be enclosed. Using brackets and 1/2" plywood (not included), construct a four-wall surround or even a custom blind. Steel, 7-ft. tall, 48" x 48" platform has a 20" x 20" flip-up trap-door access, permitting full use of the platform space when closed. Climbing safety is afforded by an included handrail. The ladder has 9"-wide steps. Stakes secure the assembly and ladder to the ground.

I like the platform size and the ease of access. I initially put the extension on it, but later took it off. With the extension I was too high in the trees and had restricted view. Be aware that the extension does not bolt quickly on the bottom. It actually goes in the middle and takes a bit more work to install and remove. The platform is quiet and very sturdy. It blends in well with surroundings and works best if installed near tree branches for additional support and safety. You also need the tree branch to attach your safety harness to.

Reasonable Platform

Bought this platform to use with a tower blind a friend gave me from another manufacturer. The price was much more reasonable than the blind's manufacturer. It was easy to assemble with good directions. I had to make a few modifications to bolt the blind to the platform. The anchors work well in winds over 45 mph. Sturdy platform! I would recommend the extension kit for those hunting in woods, not over fields.

The Big Game Shooting Platform is a well engineered and sturdy hunting platform. Assembly was simple with instructions that were easy to follow. The total weight of the platform is its biggest asset. At 175 lbs fully assembled, erecting is a one person job easily.

Shooting Platform

The product is Awesome, prefect size for my son and I. I am 220 lbs and I had no problem with the ladder, just use one foot at a time. Next season we will be buying the extention. It would be nice if it came with a big bag for easy hauling into the woods.
