XCalibur™ Xz2 Zell Pop

The Zell Pop twitches and sits for heart-stopping topwater explosions. It has a flawless, high-sheen finish with intricate etched detail. Red, 3-D eyes finish the realistic look. The shapes and swimming motion were optimized using computer-aided analysis and underwater observation. It uses Tx3 treble hooks with forged tips to improve durability. VMC® InLine Technology™ puts one of the barbs of the hook perpendicular to the bait and the other two straddling it, promoting truer running and fewer snags. Per each.

This lure is such a success, though its a fresh water lure I did the big no no on salt water when nothing was biting. Even the local fishing guides were not getting anything. So I slapped on one of my Excalibers and made that wooooop pop sound ( if you do it right and then did two jerks and a 2 sec pause.... 2 jerks and pause............... BAM!! The calm water exploded and like to give me and my brother heart attacks, ( Nice snook)

Again on fresh water using the above technique will make you feel like you've been in the seat of a fighter jet every time the fish strikes. No danceing around these lures, when these get attacked ITS VIOLENT!

Some people complain about the price........ if it produces well then why complain. It does more than what its designed to do. I wish they made this in a saltwater set up. I think the price is just fine because they do last quite long. 5+ yrs for me and still floating)

Until they do I found that creek chub lures and Storm saltwater ratttlin chug bugs ( similar designs) produce well for the salt water scene.

works great in ruff water mate the bait buy all colors and match the hatch for your area moves alot of water for a little lure

I used to use the Rebel Pop-R but the bass started to get used to them and wouldn't bite and I wanted to try something more realistic so I chose this lure and I'm glad I did. It has the best action I've ever seen in a pop-r and the colors are great. The bass love this bait and so do I. The only problem I had was that I bought the small size and I couldn't cast it far at all but the bass still bit. I think this is your best bet for any lake, especially those that are used to pop-rs.

By far the best popper on the market!! Wish they would drop the price a couple of bucks. Pricey, but well worth it. Really makes you upset when a toothy critter bites it off.
