I had a couple of these lures break off at the tail while hooked to a fish. I know of others that have had the same type of break.
The lure is too expensive to make me want to buy another.

Versatile Bait

I have been very impressed with this bait. Twitch and reel, rip and reel, or top water walking. The stick shad makes for some great shallow water action. At this point I have only used the bait inshore saltwater (south FL). I have caught snook, flounder, jack, trout, snapper, and a 3ft spinner shark!

Having both the regular and blood series, I really believe the blood makes a difference. Both do catch fish but the added element of blood seems to attract that extra fish. Particularly in clearer water.

For saltwater it has become my go to bait with the majority of my fish coming off of the White/Blood. I am hoping for similar results in freshwater for Peacock Bass and Largemouth.

Sebile blood bait

On the first outing with this bait( Indian River Florida) I sight casted to a 33 inch bull redfish. My partner in the boat had made a cast in front of the fish and spooked her in my direction . When I cast beyond her and quartering away , the fish inhailed the blood bait instantly. Two casts later a 21 inch speckled trout met the same fate. Both fish were tagged and released ( some fine publicity pictures are available ..tell sebile) great to see Cabella's is stocking this bait now as I have ordered 5 in the last 2 months and given away most ( grudingly ) to my fishing partners & customers , before that I had much trouble finding a source for these fine baits. They cast like a bullet, run true out of the box , and present a wounded easy pickings presentation to large predatory fish............Captain Bill
