    I picked the Rebel Premium Pop-R from past experience with the bait. It is weighted very well to be precise with casts into lillypads, edge of a dock, weed edge, etc.. I have caught Small Mouth and Large Mouth in local Rivers and Lakes using this bait.
    I like the quality compared to many more expensive top waters up to 3X the price and no significant difference.
    I would take this if I had only 2-3 baits to pick for a fishing trip.

    THIS BAIT WILL GET BIT.FISH IT SLOW,BLOOP BLOOP WHAM, IT IS HARD FOR BASS NOT TO HIT IT, THEY CANT HELP IT.WHEN THE BITE GETS SLOW ON A BUZZ BAIT OR SPOOK THIS IS THE GO TO BAIT.CAUGHT MANY FISH AND SO HAS MY PARTNER.THROW ONE AND TRY IT YOU WILL CATCH FISH.

    I have tried other more expensive popper style baits in better finishes but I still keep coming back to the pop-r's. I don't know what it is about this bait that fish like but you can catch fish on this popper when you just can't duplicate with others. I have used the smallest size to the magnums and have caught fish with all of them. I only have one complaint and that is the chrome plated hooks on some models are awful. The newer ones with X-caliber counter rotating hooks work very well and the older ones work well with the mustad triple grips. If you haven't used this topwater plug yet you are missing out on a lot of fishing fun. Remember to use a loop knot. This style knot gives the bait better action but check it frequently and retie often as this knot is not the best for strength. In higher pressure fishing areas the smallest size will suprise you with the bass that hit it and a lot of other fish will keep you happy while you look for the big ones. The next size up is one of the best river fishing lures you can use.
    Buy a few Rebel Pop-r's and give them a try....you will be glad you did.
