Terrible action

First of all, be warned that this popper SINKS. You have to reel it quite a bit before it surfaces again. Once it finally surfaces, the action is terrible, you have to do all the work, the popper just pushes a bit of water, but only because you have to jerk the heck out of it just to keep it surfaced. Also, the stupid thing doesn't even run straight and keeps trying to swim to a side. Additionally, the hooks blow- I had to replace the blunt middle hook with an owner treble which is infinitely sharper. The ONLY thing I like about this lure is that it does indeed cast very well, but you'd expect that from a SINKING plug.

Casts far, splashes a lot and it moves very nice. Very easy to walk the dog with it. Craftmanship is excellent, very atractive. It became part of my "A" Lure List and use it every time I get to the beach. I caught nice Stripers and Blues with it.

An old time favorite that works very well. Gotta buy this one. No one should be without atleast one. If you love topwater action like I do this is a good popper.

Super bait...it casts well and far. When allowed to sink and popped to the surface, it brings the stripers up where they blast plug. All you have to do then is hang on. Will continue to fish this product for many years.
