Cotton Cordell Pencil Poppers

An added weight in the tail section of these poppers accomplishes two tasks. It forces that tail in the direction of the cast for added distance and forces the lure to sit tail-down. The tail-down attitude of the bait makes for a splashing, popping action and is a natural for walking the dog retrieves.

I've used the CC pencils for many years now because I enjoy watching stripers and bluefish explode violently on them. The CC''s never let me down...it's just a shame that Cabela's stopped carrying the 6" model.

purchase pencil popper for surf casting at obx, in my opinion it cast better then some other pencil i have, it was easy walking the dog with, i'll recommend this pencil popper to anyone

THE go-to lure for striped bass

There is no better lure for plying the shore for stripers in the morning. The rattle drives them crazy as proven by their vertical leaps and monstrous hits. It's hard to put down. A must for the tackle box.
