The Wristlok straps onto your casting arm and prevents you from applying too much wrist on the back cast. can say that this is one of the smartest purchases i've ever made. can already feel the difference in my casting. still need lots of practice, but the wristlok has made a definite change in how i hold the rod.can't go wrong with this item if you are just learning.

Got this to help my wife with her cast. On her first cast "the light came on" and she said "so that's how it's supposed to feel". Realized immediate increase in line speed, tighter loops and distance. This a a great training aid for beginners but also good for experienced fly casters as a check or reminder of proper wrist position.
