Level your scope and crosshairs to your firearm's receiver for dead-on
accuracy. During mounting, the patent-pending magnetic level bridges the bolt raceway to level your firearm. A second level sits on top of your scope cap for a precisely leveled crosshair. Fits most bolt-action rifles and adapts to many other firearms.
I am always very careful to level my scopes and thought this item would be better than the little level or blumb line. Well, got it home and it wouldn't pass the 180 degree calibration check for a level. If the level isn't level in the unit, it isn't going to work to level anything. Was really disapointed and trashed the item.
Been mounting scopes for 25+ years by eye. Thought this level would help. Takes way too long to use. Not any more accurate than by eye method. Save your money, buy ammo or a gun vise.
It looked like this would be great for levelng scopes, but as it turned out it didn't work so well. The first thing I noticed was that the magnet, which is glued onto the bottom of the larger level, was not even glued on flat, so the level doesn't even sit level on a level surface. The other problem is that it doesn't really work on any of my 7 scoped rifles, because there isn't a flat spot on the rifles to use as a reference. The photo shows the plastic extension placed between the top of the receiver and the scope, but that would require awfully tall scope mounts. It was a good idea, but it really doesn't work so well, at least not on my rifles.
I purchased this to level scopes on a couple new guns I got. I have a Savage model 111 and model 110. I leveled the guns and then the scope. I tightened the scope down and rechecked the level. I then looked through the scope and it was farther off than any scope I had ever seen. I rechecked everything and according to the levels, It was dead on. I was not happy with the results of this product. I would not recommend it.
