Rite Bobbins

A cross-shaped pressure disc adjusts for just the right tension for any particular tying job. Click drag adjustment provides from 1 to 9 oz. of thread tension on standard model, 2 - 16 oz. of thread tension on Cermag bobbins. Ceramic thread tubes in standard and Cermag models protect fine thread. Larger bore long tubes make big, bulky flies easier to tie. Cermag models have long-reach thread tubes.

    Purchased this about a month ago and have used it almost everyday. It has taken a little getting used to but is a very good Bobbin, it could be just a little longer on the shaft tube but have learned to use it better now. Really like the tension adjustment.

    Good But Not My Favorite

    Great idea and it DOES work well if you otherwise have trouble breaking thread. I prefer other bobbins, however because this one doesn't fit as well in the palm of my hand. The extra width added by the tensioning device just causes it to be bulkier.
