Renzetti Cam Series Traveler Vise

  • Upgraded for 2008 with new finish
  • Infinitely adjustable lever-operated cam jaws
  • Holds hooks size 28 to 4/0
The Traveler has been upgraded for 2008 with a new finish for a better appearance and longer life. It uses a lever-operated cam jaw system that is infinitely adjustable. The lever requires very little force to securely hold any hook size from 28 to 4/0. The C-clamp model weighs only 8 oz. Vise has an adjustable bobbin cradle, adjustable rotary tension and case-hardened steel jaws.

The Renzetti Cam Travler is a great vise. No more worries about finding a bench the right thickness to place a fly tying vise. This vise is such a great vise that I purchased one for my wife. She loves it as much as I do. Great Quality, Great buy for the price. Will never need another vise.

Well I decided to get into tying this past Christmas since I spend a lot of time on the water. I asked around for peoples opinions on two different vices and nearly everyone disagreed with both of my decisions and told me to just buy this guy. I did and now I know why this was recommended, everything is so smooth and pretty flawless. Holds every hook I threw at it rock-steady.
The only thing I found odd about it was that the jaws already show signs of wearing.. I know how to place a hook in the jaws so I ruled that out. Only reason why this got 4 stars.

This vise is very good. It holds your hooks secure even down to the very small sizes you see out west. The base is heavy enough that it does not move while tying.I did an extensive search and this was the vise that kept coming up on the reviews.
I just took a fly tying class and this is the vise they used for the class. People love this product. I highly recomend it.
