Cabela's Super II Vise

The Super II Vise incorporates a specifically designed jaw that is ideal for small hooks, and also serves well for general duty on hooks up to size 2. The jaw allows access to the rear of the hook, where wrapping and tying on fly materials can be a problem when using a conventional vise. Jaws can be rotated or fixed at any angle without releasing the hook.

Super II Vise

The Super II Vise is portable and extremely durable. The mechanism for tightening cooperates perfectly to your adjustment - a key factor when considering a vise . The table-clamp too is solid and very sturdy. The vise conveniently comes with two additional, alternate size hook-clamps which are interchangable with the initially attached hook-clamp. I am critical of goods I purchase. This item I award a perfect 5 stars. I highly recommend it to all levels of fly tying enthusiasts, beginners or masters alike. Congratulations Cabela's - you did it again!

Good Beginners Vise

For the price it's an excellent beginners vise. It won't compare to a high end vise but for the money it's good.
The vise comes with 3 jaws which is nice for different hook sizes. The one thing I noticed immediately is when you rotate the jaw loosens.
Overall for the price it's a good vise !

Beginner Flyer Tyer

I purchased the Cabela's Super II Fly Tying Vise to tie bucktail jigs and it works great I would recommend this Vise to anyone who is just getting started tying flies or jigs. It is a lot of fun catching fish with something you made and also a great hobbie.

Great Beginner's Vise

Great vise for the beginner--quality and price excellent for novice. Only gripe--vise arrived in a box that was too small and there was a huge amount of oil all over the vise which left oily stains in the box. That was annoying as the vise was a Christmas gift and did not present in an attractive manner. But, vise is great.
