Cabela's Fly-Tying Desk

This handsome desk is just what you need to keep your tying materials organized and off the kitchen table. It is only 14.75" deep when closed, but open the drop front and there's plenty of room for your vise, tools and tying materials. When you are finished, just close the front and everything is out of sight. Three pigeon holes let you store tools and supplies, and the large drawer has three compartments for organization of your tying materials. Kit includes pre-cut Red Oak and Red Oak plywood components with all hardware and easy-to-follow assembly instructions. Desk can be stained to match your decor.

Exactly What I needed
Date:
Remodeled my patio into a four season room and wanted to have a place to tie. This desk fits the area I planned to use it in and is designed very well. Good value.

Good value for the beginner
Date:
I have recently started tying my own Fly's and have limited space. This desk takes up very little space and was easy to set up. Its big enough for my limited supply of components. The only draw back was the hinges on the dest top were not as strong as I had hoped. But this desk is still a great value and I would gladly recommend it for the beginner.

Tying Station
Date:
Is a decent tying desk for the price. Small but depending on your area that can be a good thing. I liked the height of the table top. It is nice being able to close it up and leave the materials currently working with out.

Functional, finishable tying platform
Date:
Arrived in excellent shape. Assembled it to make sure it was sturdy and complete. Disassembled and stained minwax dark oak to match my den furniture. Looks great, very functional as a tying desk if you have storage elsewhere, portable and small enought to move. Drawbacks: hard to access drawer, could have a second drawer, top-heavy - unsteady when open. Books and catalogs on the bottom shelf ease the top-heaviness.
