A very handy gadget
Date:
For an over 50 fisherman the Ty-Rite is great help. Holds the flys securely, allowing for nice uniform knots. It's a real asset when my pudgy little fingers are cold, it will pay for itself in dropped fly savings. So far it's held up nicely and I would highly recomend it.

Ty-rite hook holders
Date:
I've used these for years and got two new ones after giving away the old ones to a friend. Orange one for small hooks #16 and smaller) and Red one for hooks #14 all the way to large salmon flies. Makes tying on a new fly much easier and you won't drop flies in the river anymore. A must have for tying on flies at dusk or in the dark. Ideal for tying clinch knots, and fast.

Great for cold fingers
Date:
This is great when your fingers are cold or just clumsy like me. Gives you something to hold onto and less likely to drop the fly, or hook yourself.
Well worth the cost.

Great Tool
Date:
This is a handy tool for holding and tying your small flies to your line when the temperature is around freezing and your hands are shivering from the blistering cold. Great for tying both the Cinch and Improved Cinch knot in minimum time giving me more line in the water time.
