Perfect for storage as well as for changing lines. I'm usually misplacing the spools the line comes on and these work well. Plenty of room for line and backing when switching reels.

Key driven spools for power loading and stripping

Spools have a keyway that fits the groove on the Reel E Good Winder crankshaft. This provides a positive driving force to allow you to power strip and load fishing line onto the storage spools. Large diameter spools will strip over 366 feet (122 yards) in 1 minute @ 400 RPM. When used for storage spools they have a place to record the weight and type of line is loaded onto it. Great way to keep your fly lines organized, cleaned and treated with line conditioners.
Be sure to checkout the Reel E Good Fly Line Loaders to take the work out of putting backing and fly lines back onto your fly reels. 2 sizes available to handle most small and the large arbor type fly reels out there.
