Reel-E-Good Line Winder

Quickly change, store or clean your fly line. After attaching the reel and while winding the line onto the storage spool, run it through a pad of line cleaner. While rewinding onto your reel run the line through a dry pad to remove excess cleaner and polish your line. It's that easy to extend the life of your fly line. Centerline guide ensures tangle free exchanges. Right-or-left hand operation. Includes an extra storage spool. Also works great to load backing onto your reel. Also compatible with spinning, baitcasting and conventional rods.

Makes line cleaning and spooling eaiser. It is a little light in weight, need to clamp it down. Over all a good buy for the price.

Wonderful line winder. It's user friendly, easy to assemble, and very portable. Great for use at home as well as changing line while on a fishing trip.

The Reel-E-Good Line Winder works as advertised. It will handle all but the largest bulk spools of mono/braid and all fly lines. Right after setting it up (which was easy to do) I proceeded to transfer four fly lines to new spools. This meant moving each line from an old spool to a "transfer" spool that comes with the Winder and from that spool to the new fly reel spool. Eight transfers. Four lines took about 45 minutes. This sure beats pulling out four full fly lines plus 100 yards of backing in the dirt outside. The lines stay clean and completely tangle-free. The only reason the Winder did not receive five stars was due to the fact that, although it has non-skid feet and a light weight built in for stabilization, if I vigorously wound line it would skate a bit on my kitchen counter top. Adding more weight or taking my time would eliminate this problem. Overall I'm very happy with this tool.

This is not a professional unit, but it nice to have.
I use it to clean up my lines, makes changes in my line and all with out having to go to a retailer. It is nice to be able to do the things I want to do with my fly line when ever I want to at home.
