Hagen's Professional Wire Former allows you to produce dozens of wire designs to make all types of spinners, wire leaders, wire snells, spinnerbaits and just about any type of terminal tackle. Designed and constructed for commercial use on wire diameters ranging from .018 to .041 inches, it lets you truly customize your lures to your own exacting standards or build your own creations from scratch. Built of solid anodized machined aluminum, this easy-to-use tool is designed to never fail. For added strength and durability, all points subjected to heavy wear are constructed of heat-treated tool steel. Components for both 1/8" and 3/16" diameter loop options are included. Can be mounted on a bench. Easy to operate right- or left-handed. A great money-saver, it allows you to produce lures at a fraction of the cost of factory-made lures. Plus, you can design them to work best in the conditions you fish.

The unit is so easy to use that right out of the box I made twenty five leaders in less than 30 min. This unit will pay for itself in one season. The unit is so versital that you can clamp the unit in your boat and make specific leaders as you need them. You will never not have the correct size leader again.

I have been very satisfied with the wire bender. It has preformed well for me when bending wire between .020\u201d and .043\u201d. Practice does help and finding away to measure and document where stop gauges are positioned and gaps around the die and shaft to twist is essential if you are going to bend a variety of wire diameters. Because I have found these dimensions change based on the wire diameter.
I was a little disappointed in the extra kit as the bender it self came with some of the parts so I have doubles now. At the price I am not sure why they could not include the one extra part and wrench that I needed out of the kit to make the swap between 1/8\u201d eye diameter and 3/16\u201d diameter wire.
