It works just like it should. Work better with soft lead, not as well with reclaimed lead.

Only problems I had where lead related. When using melted tire weights and reclaimed lead shot, which is hard lead. It works better with more pure lead or using a ladle to pour. Bottom pour spouts are a little too slow.

Keep the hook hot and use a ladle with harder lead. If not use soft lead if you want a consistent flow into the barb all the time.

Football Jig Mold

Do-it molds sold by Cabelas are of the highest quality. This was my 7th mold purchase and the jigs are perfect.

I looked in all places for the Do-it football mold, and found Cabela's to be the least expensive. So I ordered it. Was very surprised as how soon shipped/recd. Have made a couple dozes jigs, and now its time to put those to the real test. I also ordered some EC style 570 hooks too. Would recommend Cabela's to anyone for anything to do with the outdoors. Great store & job.
