Much easier to work with than the allen wrenches which are included with the bases and rings. Not really necessary but nice to have. Be careful not to apply too much torque!

Nice thought but...

The teeth on the driver got mangled and stripped the screw heads making it difficult or even worse impossible to ever be able to remove them. It was a good idea but they should have spent a few more dollars and used a higher grade steel.
