I purchased this sunshade for a Vari-x II, and though I had to have the threads reworked because of it's age, it fits the scope perfectly, and the glare reduction is incredible. Now, I can use my scope in almost any light condition, and not have to worry about the sun. It can be extended by connecting additional shades to it, or you can use the Alumina covers that Leupold offers with it as well. If I had other Leupold scopes, I'd order more of these, and highly recommend them to anyone who can use them.
