Leader Straightener

Because monofilament leaders have "memory", the coils must be removed from the leader before fishing. By drawing the leader through this leather gum rubber pad, you not only straighten the leader but also remove the shine.

Convenient Leader Straightener

I got this after having problems when my graded leader would not uncurl. This straightener works, particularly if you pull the leader through one way, and then back again. Very useful, and it can be stored with my reel, or in my jacket.

very handy product

I have a number of tapered fly line leaders that have been in a box and stored away for some time. That is the reason that I made the purchase. I tried it out on one of the packaged leaders the other day and it did a really good job of straightening that leader. I have also purchased some jewelry as gifts and they were also well received by the ladies they were gifted to.
