Iosso® Case Cleaner - 1 Quart

Iosso Case Cleaner effectively removes powder fouling residue, oxidation, tarnish, discoloration, dirt and grime. It also cleans inside primer pockets and inside the casings where tumbling media isn't effective. To use, simply immerse the casings in the solution for 20 seconds to five minutes, rinse and dry. One quart. Treats approximately 1,500 casings.

I was given about 2,000 OLD 38spl casings that were very stained. Vibration did not clean them after an hour so I purchased the Isso Case Cleaner. 20 - 30 seconds in the cleaner and then into the rinse! What a difference!!! It did exactly what I wanted it to do!! Clean casings!!!

Iosso case cleaner does clean cases very well. The reason I use it is this product does a task nothing else will do, CLEAN INSIDE THE CASE. I will use anything to increase the effectiveness of my hand loads and this assures me the residue is removed inside. I can tumble in media if I want a shiny case.

This is the only product that I have used since I begun reloading in 2009. It took me a while to figure out the right workflow for myself though.
At first I was cleaning 100 rounds at a time as I was also learning to reload and I noticed that the brass would look nice at first but then would turn greenish after a while. I guess the problem was on the rinsing and leaving some of the chemical behind or not drying the brass properly.
I read somewhere that someone would just place their brass in the washer machine so last time I made a demin sock (didn't have jeans to cut) and dried the brass in the Dryer. There was some improvement.
Yesterday I had over 500 cases to clean and didn't have enough time to do it in small batches so I placed the brass in an empty Orange Juice container, added the IOSSO, shaking the container for about 5 minutes, drained the IOSSO into another container and dropped the brass cases in a 5 gallon bucket of water. Then placed them in the denim sock, washed them in the washer then to the dryer...a bit noisy.
Some of them might need a bit more cleaning on the flash hole but that still needs to be done during individual inpection.
Total time...about 2 hours and if I had more brass it would still take about 2 hours due to the Washer/Dryer cycles
