This the cheapest built item I have ever boughten from Cabela's I am surprised they even list it in their products. The metal is so light weight that it will bend and bow at the slightest touch. It comes with slites for uses with a mounting bracket that is not included nor was it even listed with the tool box that you needed to order it. I would not recommend this to anyone!

Great Box for Short Beds

This box is exactly what I needed, a place to put things in a single cab short bed. Only complaint is that in a 2006 style Chevy/GMS the stake pockets are too large and the box must be re drilled for the Grip Rite installation kit to work and keep the box next to the cab. If you don't you'll either have to drill the bed or leave a 1.5" gap between the box and bed. Only toook 10 minutes to install with the redrill, But overall I'm 100% happy with it and still have room in the bed to use my truck as a truck.
Box is sturdier than other brands I have had in the past, latches release & lock well and they did a great powder coat job as well.

This toolbox seems to be well built but it is smaller than I anticipated. I also prefer a toolbox with a tray so small items are easy to reach.

Better Built Low-Profile Tool Box

Good box, lid opens and shuts good, but it has a pretty good sized gap both sides inside the bed, needed to be a little bit wider for a full sized bed, but overall looks good.
