Dutton-Lainson Pivoting Tongue Jack

This pivoting tongue jack is a back saver when you hitch and unhitch your loaded trailer. It can be mounted on trailer tongues up to 3" x 5". Additional holding capacity is achieved by the single-pin system that assures the jack remains in position. 1000 lb. jacks come with a Cabela’s-exclusive wheel lock. Jacks resist rust and come with a three-year warranty. Imported.

Purchased this tounge jack because I needed the 1200# capacity for my boat and it was sold thru Cabela's which I trust for their quality of products. Easy to install but upon rasing my boat for first time the handle came flying off because its only held on by a cheap clip..will try to find something to keep it on because its on my boat and dont want to send this back.. I see now why this jack has only a 1 year warrenty and all the others have 3..I only hope it lasts a year..It DOES NOT have the wheel lock on it either like the others....Cabela"s and I deserve better than this item....

The only problem I have had is that the lock to prevent the wheel from turning doesn't seem to function well. I have to stomp on it very hard, and that doesn't always lock it.

Great product, but the brake doesn't work (at least on mine) couldn't return because I need to use it asap, but I would have if it were possible. Otherwise, it's excellent.
