Spare Tire Cable Lock

Protect your spare tire from would-be thieves. This 12mm TRIMAFLEX™ braided steel cable loops through the frame of your trailer or automobile frame and locks through the wheel lug nut hole, so the entire assembly is hidden from view and difficult to tamper with. Not only does this lock protect your spare from being removed from its bracket, it also prevents the bracket from being swiped from the frame. It includes two keys, so you're never stuck on the side of the road with a perfectly good spare that you cannot remove from the trailer.

I didn't use the spare tire cable lock as it was listed or pictured for my boat trailor spare tire. I needed a lock for the spare tire on my Jeep Wrangler. The spare tire is mounted on a rack on the rear gate with just 3 lug nuts. Anyone could spin them off and have a $200 tire and $100 rim in less than a minute. The spare tire cable lock works well and the lock part extends through the extra hole in the rim. It looks like it was made for it. It should make would-be thieves pass my Jeep by.

Best Spare Lock I've Found

Not the cheap type lock that clamps on the lugs. Heavy Duty cable that claps onto the boat trailer.
