I've been in the need for a way to turn multiple rods while curing the finish. I had rigged a single turner which was sufficient for a single rod but when repairing several rods there was a need for turning several at once. This allows you to mix one batch of 2 part finish and apply to several rods at one time.
I have limited space in my workshop and no wall space to mount it to. I mounted the Rodsmith to a 2' by 3' piece of plywood. I then attached a piece of lightweight chain to each corner. It can be hung in the rafters out of the way when not in use. Undo the two chains on the bottom two corners and drop it down and it is ready for use.
This was much simpler than trying to find the parts and pieces and rig up four individual turners. You may be able to save a few $'s doing it in pieces but this is worth the price.
Not sure how I did without.
