Pacific Bay Rodsmith Power Wrapper with Dryer

The most popular rod wrapper on the market today, now with a three-piece base for easier storage and transportation. It also dries rods without having to remove them. Self-centering chuck increases stability. The fixed, locking supports can handle the speed of the 11-rpm finish/dry motor. The Rodsmith Power Wrapper has a dual-spool/dual-tension thread carriage with metal rollers for smooth tracking. Ceramic line guides cut down on abrasion, and a magnet guarantees you'll never lose your razor blade. Three fully adjustable rod stands with ball-bearing wheels. Foot- and dial-controlled wrapping motor also can turn cork grips. 45° indications on flywheel for diamond wraps. Comes with Rodsmith Rod-Drying Machine (an $89.99 value). Includes 11-rpm motor with self-centering chuck and adjustable rod stand with ball-bearing wheels. Rods not included.

Great Wrapper

This wrapper has saved me a great amount of time when building a rod. The thread carriage componet has ajustable tension with ceramic guides that are easy on the metallic thread. The combo feature is nice also.

The rod wrapper works very well. The foot pedal frees up an extra hand and the speed adjustment capability is a big plus. The wrapper has a rod drying application and combined with the extra rod dryer it makes quick work of a build.

My only complaint is the gripping mechanism that spins the rod. It is cumbersom to adjust and does not fit truly secure without adding rubber bands which frey and break.

Overall, it makes rod building much simpler and the grip is easily overcome but I thought it would be helpful to mention.
