This 'thread' is as strong as it gets. The only problem you may have, or need to work around, is it's stranded like floss. Spin your bobbin to keep it tight as you wrap.

Wow!!! A remarkable thread for tying my 5/0 and 6/0 siwash hooks on my surf plugs. Very slick, and very very strong. has a nice pearlescent sheen to it also. Will stock up in the off season when I make all my plugs. A++++
