In my country there is no interdiction for lead use, therefore I prefer this lead wire. It is heavier and faster immerses on a bottom my nymphs.

The wire works well. However, as with any lead wire it breaks easily. working with care and not putting too much pessure on it it will do a good job for you. I use it on wooly buggers and leaches.
