The thread is very tough and well suited for medium to larger flies. Also it is great for beginers in fly tying because of its toughness and resistance to breaking.

This thread tyes fine -- it's about a 6/0. I like to tye flies that last (my current record is 18 sequentual trout on a Zug Bug before it looked like a dirty, bent hook!). I've tyed a couple of Bead Head Hare's Ears and a few Mickey Finns and will see how long they last. I've got a button on my sheepskin winter coat thats loose -- maybe I'll sew that on too! It might be worth five stars if it all works.
