The rocks won

Went on a week long fishing trip to Alaska. Tried to save some weight by using these stakes instead of metal ones. Camped mainly on gravel bars on a river. Broke two of the stakes with a plastic mallet first time I used the "rock busters" to anchor the cooking tarp. I'm bringing the metal stakes on the next trip.

Great Stakes

These stakes are very tough and will drive into almost any type of soil. They also come with holes for tent guy wires and an ingenious way of removing the stakes with a short piece of rope. Good buy...

Tent Stakes

Used to anchor Minnow traps. Ground is soft enough to push in. This allows me to hide line attached to traps. This is soft use and cannot comment on harder actual tent stake use.

THEY WORK

MY WIFE AND I WENT CAMPING THIS PAST WEEKEND AND USED THE ROCK BUSTER TENT STAKES FOR THE FIRST TIME.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE STAKES TO ANYONE. I DID HIT ROCKS AND WITH EASE THEY WENT THRU. I ALSO LIKE HOW YOU CAN ADJUST THE TENSION OF THE ROPE EVAN AFTER THE STAKES ARE IN THE GROUND. ALSO THEY ARE VERY EASY TO REMOVE FROM THE GROUND
