Very life like and easy to put together. I love the size of it compared to others I looked at. Get it on sale in the off season and it's a great deal! Beats just mounting your feathers on the wall!!!!

Most Realistic Fan and Beard Mount I've Used

I've used this mount kit twice now, both with exceptional results. After just 4-5 labor hours (adding 10 days to 2 weeks for curing), going from tail prep to ready-for-hanging, it's just the ticket for the do-it-yourself taxidermist. The realism is hard to beat, from coloration to form detail, giving your trophy that extra umph you can't get from a piece of wood. I will continue to use this kit in the future, thanks Cabela's!

I purchased the V. D. Lifelike Turkey Tail Kit and have to say it's been one of the most enjoyable wall mounts I have. It's nice to have friends or strangers come in and have an instant conversation piece due to the realistic manner in which it's made. I will purchase another one for sure when this year's Turkey season opens and I manage to find a bigger Tom.... would advise anyone looking for a great mount for their tail and beard to look no further than V. D. Turkey Kit from Cabela's!!!

This is a great way to display your tail and beard. It's still cheaper then a full body mount but the price is starting to get to high!!!
