Great For Beginners

This is a great kit for beginners. I had just started into the whole business of taxidermy by doing my first deer mount and seen this on Cabela's. I decided to give it a shot. It has complete dierections on how to skin, prep, and completely mount the whole squirrel. This is a great buy!

good kit

Good kit. If your squirrel is a little too small for the form, you can actually saw the form in half. You can get the form into the tight squirrel pelt easier that way. Once both pieces are in, you can file or shave a little off of one piece where you sawed them in half, if you need to. You probably will not need to. The magic part is this: Once you get the two halves inside the pelt, you can glue the two sawed halves back together. Once the glue dries and the fur is on, NOBODY will ever know!

it is a good kit but directions could use help. i suggest if you get sitting squirrel gut it from the back the directions say to gut both from front overall good product though
