Easy to use, and set up. The borox included is very handy since it works much better then salt.
I actually used a gel stain to make the wood darker to match other wood that was in the room. Total time to install fan and beard... 5 minutes

Best for spur mount

I have used numerous mounting kits, but when it comes to displaying of the spurs, I love this one. The oak is hard and you do have to pre-drill for the beard and spur mounts, but not a big deal. The way it holds the fan works better than any of the others I have used.

A very nice mount for the price. Displaying the fan, beard, and spurs all on one mount was the deciding factor for me to purchase this mount. The mount is looks great and is quite durable. The instructions could be a little more clear, but reading the reviews and and manufacturer website made assembly quick and easy.
