Shoot-N-C targets have a fluorescent chartreuse background covered with a flat black coating. When a bullet hits, the black coating flakes off approximately twice the size of the hole, leaving an easy-to-see halo. 18" Round target is ideal for a variety of target shooting applications. These targets are great and it is easy to see your shots even before looking through the spotting scope. The adhesive makes them easy to attach to anything. The black adhesive dots to be used to cover previous shots sometimes fall off on subsequent shots, but a great product regardless.
These do cost a lot more than standard paper targets. Being able to see the bright lime green for the bullet strike makes it a ton easier to see where your hitting for both pistol and rifle. The repair dots to cover up your prior shots do add some life to the target and I suppose if you run out of those you could use some black electrical tape if you wanted. I don't quite like the adhesive on the back of the target though. I use a sheet of plywood as my target stand and the targets dont like to stay stuck to them so I still end up taking a can of spray adhesive with me.
I use these at the 100 yd and beyond range. I can put two up at once. Easy to see my bullet strikes with my 10X binocs. They also work great at the 25 yard range for paterning my shotgun.
