    I was looking for the best scope mounts I could find for my R-25. Since it would take some beating in the bush. They are very solid & easy to mount. The only down side is they are very heavy. But the quality is worth the trade off.

    These rings are absolutely rock solid, and are surprisingly easy to mount. The quality is evident as they are made to tight tolerences. One word of caution though, these rings are extremely heavy!!
    I'm mounting a Nikon scope with a 50mm objective lens on a Remington R-25. The first time I picked the rifle up with just the rings on it, the difference in weight was significant and immediately noticable.
    Leupold does make these exact same rings in Aluminum, but for some reason Cabela's doesn't carry them.
