11-time Bianchi Cup winner Doug Koenig uses this sight on his competition handgun. It's equally capable mounted on your pistol, tactical rifle or shotgun. Dont waste your money
    Date:
I purchased this on Saturday. Its now Monday and I am returning it this weekend. Even with unlocking the screws, it will not sight. The red dot will not move from the very far right of the sight. The red dot itself is so smeared even after cleaning the glass. It is supposed to be the triangle on the7.5 MOA. It looks like a smeared rectangle. Im going to return it and get the Burris Fastfire. Save your money and aggravation.

nice unit, poorly thought out micro-torx screws
    Date:
I normally carry a bit-driver and all kinds of bits, including torx, in my range bag ... first trip, I found out, I didn't have the ridiculously tiny one they provide with the sight ... next time, I brought it with ... I had previously bore-sighted it ... and was on 8in at 25yd ... but as soon as I tried to move it, I was off ... the little torx wrench constantly wants to skip ... you're afraid you're gonna strip either the wrench or the screws ... and there's 4 screws ... two to lock each adjustment ... and the two adjustments ... and ya have to unlock/re-lock each time ya adjust ... and there's no "feel" in the adjustment ... and with the wrench feeling like it's about to skip, it's almost impossible to have any idea how much you're actually turning the thing ... ultimately, I gave up after one of the tiny "lock" screws ended up missing ... must've been awfully short ... for context, I've owned a DOCTER for 10yr prior to this ... it got damaged, so I was in the market for a new sight ... in 10yr, I never had a single issue with the DOCTER ... it used slotted screws ... had Leupold used these, this might very well be a very nice sight ... the triangle reticle was very sharp ... and the auto-brightness seemed to work quite well ... albeit, not very quickly ... so I wouldn't rely on this for defensive purposes ... one time I played with it, I had to wait about 5min before it went dim enough to be useful after I turned off the lights ... really too bad ... other than the screws, it seems like a nice solid little unit
