Bushnell® Laser Riflescope

Bushnell has combined a premium 4-12 x 42mm riflescope with 3-1/2" eye relief, precision laser rangefinder providing distances from 30 to 800 yards, and a bullet-drop compensator into one outstanding product. Fully multicoated optics deliver optimum brightness and color fidelity. The rangefinder is easily activated with wireless-trigger pad. Bullet-drop turrets eliminate hold-over guesswork. Simply install the turret (eight plus one blank included) that matches your caliber and load. When the range appears in the reticle, simply adjust it to the corresponding distance and hold dead-on. Magnesium body construction reduces weight to a very manageable 24 oz. Includes extra-low profile mounts, 100% waterproof construction, mil-dot reticle, ±1 yard accuracy, standard and SCAN modes and operates on 3-volt battery (included).

when you are shooting at distance and you do not know how far it is your guessing. I have shot wild hogs at 430 yards and 638 yards on the run in the same day and would not of hit either one but I knew how far it was , Now there food . This scope is so good I got another for my son . If you now how far it is to the target you can hit it and faster than your buddy. I would recommend this scope to all my hunting partners but I want the advantage. I have had this scope since 2008 and would not trade it for anything. If you don't have one you will never know how great this is. TRY TO BUY A RANGE FINDER AND A QUALITY SCOPE FOR THIS PRICE.You won't.

Worth the effort

The Bushnell® Laser Riflescope was purchased and received in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it was missing the mounting system that secured it the the Weaver style bases. After contacting several customer service rep's, replacements were sent and within a week the scope was installed and sighted in. It has a lengthy instruction manual to read but once you get familiar with it, it is worth the effort.

this is the best tool out there . if you have ever ranged things long distance you will understand . using your scope to range enables you to hold ranger steadier there fore a better range estimate . very good product

Weak Activator Switch Design...

I thought the optics were okay. A bit on the dark side. The scope is kind of heavy. I hated the activator switch. It is a plastic thing with an adhesive, escutcheon-type button poppel. You have to position it close to the scope's IR receivers to start the range finding display. There is some delay before you get a range display showing, so combine that with trying to IR link up the remote switch and you have some awkwardness going. I took my rifle out of the safe and the small little plastic "watch band" keeper that holds the weak elastic mounting strap had broken off. Now the activator switch assembly was hanging off the rifle with the lone remaining plastic keeper. This scope works and is a cool idea but the execution has too many corners cut for me.
On a side note: It took me a while to get around to testing this scope. Cabela's was First Class about taking this scope back for me. I really appreciate the Excellent Service and Cabela's is the first place I go when I'm interested in something.
