Our Search for Decent Nighttime Vision

This was my first venture into nighttime optics. We have traveled more the last three years since retirement and I had told my wife a good birthday present for me would be a pair of decent night binoculars.
We were not interested in the high end variety, just a pair that provided "useable" night vision for wildlife. I was disappointed with many reviews and especially the prices that went along with those reviews that claimed to be better quality. Then I read several reviews of these ATN Night Shadow Gen 1 bi-oculars, liked the design for both eyes and especially the more reasonable price.
They arrived very promptly after ordering and I have not been disappointed with their quality. For someone just starting out in this hobby, I give this product a strong four stars. Thank you Cabelas!

They work pretty good for the 25-75yrd range. Not as clear as I had hoped but these are not the military grade. Fun for camping and around the backyard. Overall a good value

Hello, I purchased these in october. I have had a lot of fun with them. You can see really well and I like the binocular type because you look with both eyes. They seem to be well built and I have no problems with them. They are pretty heavy. My son and myself have enjoyed them greatly. Thanks.
