ATN Aries MK-350 Guardian Nightvision Riflescope
Date:
Great price, and product at this time. Once you get it sighted in, you will like it. Kind of hard to sight in, in the dark, you have to go to the target every shot. Took coyote hunting twice. Worked very well. Not to good if trees, like live oaks are right in front of you. The trees will reflect the lighting, and you can not see anything. At this time I don't know how far to be back from trees. After first set, used clear cuts, fresh planted pine plantation and everything was fine.

ATN MK SP or MK-350
Date:
I am not new to night vision. I have had Soviet generation 1 night vision binoculars for 10 years and been very happy with them.
This ATN MK- SP is much better in resolution or sharpness and in light intensification than the Soviet binoculars. I purchased this ATN as an MK-350, however it shows no model identification and the instruction book shows it as an MK-SP. No problem detecting a Racoon sized object at 260 yards with no starlight with the illuminator. If moonlight or starlight is present greater range is possible especially against snow. The red crosshairs are great in the dark, but lack the intensity to sight in the daylight even at twilight. you must sight in at night. Magnification is stated as 2.5X but is sufficient to shoot 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards. Click adjustments equal 1 moa not 1/4 as stated in the manual. I purchased a second to mount on a shotgun for coyotes I was so impressed. Scope is heavy but a real value. I suspect it is better than the Gen I+ as stated in the manual. You won't find a better value in my opinion. Good shooting.

MK 350 Night Vision Scope
Date:
Scope seems to be a good buy for the money. Although it is Gen 1, I can see clearly up to about 75 yards. Plenty good to take the hogs on my place or varmint hunt.

Great Gen 1
Date:
This is an excellent Gen 1 nightvision scope, which comes complete with an IR illuminator. I was able to see approximately 200 yards with a full moon and stars. With no moon or stars I was able to see about 75 yards using the IR illuminator. The scope is very bright and clear, and the red on green recticle is a plus. The only complaint is the inability to use the scope during the day to sight it in. The recticle isn't bright enough during a full sun day to sight it in while using the daytime filter.
