ACET gives you a great sight for daylight or low-light conditions
Longer battery life
Includes replaceable black rubber cover
This sight is a favorite of law enforcement and military personnel because it's tough enough to handle any
demanding circumstances or weather condition. Aimpoint took the CompM3 design and added
breakthrough Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology to it to give you a great sight for daylight and low-
light conditions with longer battery life. Includes replaceable black rubber cover. 30mm Ring Mounts sold
separately.
2MOA dot, solid out to 200 yards, 500 yards possible with 7.62 and Aimpoint 3X magnifier. I'd spend some time researching this optic with various Larue mounts for your application. The quick release Larue mounts maintain their zero and the magnifier can be mounted with a swinging base for increased functionality.
This sight is made in Sweden, excellent clarity and enough battery to run for over a year, literally. It is relatively light weight and built like a tank for many decades of service.
I have a ML3 - 2MOA dot mounted on a quick release mount - Larue Tactical. It is mounted on my Colt 6940. I absolutely love this sight. 200yard shots are no problem - why I would recommend the 2MOA. Easy to use for CQB. Great in just about any environment. Gets a little tough taking precision shots if it gets filled with water in a torrential downpour or a heavy snowfall. Super durable. Plan to get more for my hunting rifles.
The 2 moa ml3 and a Ruger 556 were my Christmas. Took it out to my family shoot 'em up, and everone from a 7 to a 70 year old tried it. Works with glasses. Works with bad vision. Works using the left eye in a right handed hold. Everyone loved it. The 7 y/o was hitting targets at 200 yards. And it was not handled gently. Worked flawlessly, and made me rethink red dot sights in general, after some bad experiences with units of lower quality.
