Northland Live Forage® Fish Fry Minnow Spoon

This new line of lifelike, high-definition lures is the result of two years of research, design, testing and digital imaging technology. Each lure is hand-sculpted and molded from lightweight zinc and mimics the action of a crippled baitfish. Amazing high-definition detail in colors, scales, gills, fins and eyes makes them hard for predators to resist. Jig it and let it fall to imitate a baitfish in distress. Lifelike action and colors.

Outstanding castability, revolving action

Its not the good season here for the target species of this small lure at the moment, because water is very cold, but I wanted to trie the action. First I was surprised with the extraordinary casting distances you can reach with this small lure (I have the 1/4 oz, 2'' size). When rigged after a ball-bearing snap-swivel, the lure rotates even on very slow retrieve at high revs. When you speed up reeling in, the lure ceases revolving and begins to waggle like larger trout spoons. Jigging action is quite normal. Shape and coloring are highly realistic. Size and type of action will be good for perch and brown trout, I think. I'll order more of them.

Got off the ice a little while ago...these jigs were AWESOME! I was fishing the glo perch and golden shiner. The panfish were all over it! I caught a ton of perch on the perch color, and the crappie loved the shiner color. Got a bass on the shiner color as well. I didn't even use my regular lures because these were producing so well. Multiple hits using just the jig without any mousies, waxies, etc on it! The detail is great and the action is really good. Highly Recommended!!!!!
