Cabela's XML Ti Casting Handle Kit

Increased sensitivity was paramount when we improved these handles. A soft-touch finish maximizes vibrations while the MAG Touch® dual-blank exposure reel seat nearly doubles the sensitivity. Underneath the grip, the lightweight aluminum barrel construction adds strength. Screw-down locking foregrip with microclick adjustment eliminates exposed threads when the reel is snugged up. Composite cork butt cap. Foregrip measures 1-3/4".
Rear grip length: 6-1/2", 7-1/4", 10".

Smooth Operation
Date:
I purchased this grip and real set combo for a casting rod I built 3 months ago. It fit and worked excellent and the final rod came out beautiful. I will be building another spinning rod for myself and will use this grip and seat for the next build.

Great feel and function
Date:
I used this on a St. Croix SCV blank. It's quality and appearance compares nicely with that of the blank. The micro-ratchet fore-grip is very nice and it holds the reel securely. The quality of the cork is very good considering what is now on the market. I've seen lesser cork on flyrods with prices well north of $600. The exposed graphite bottom tube looks good, I'm not sure it really adds to sensitivity because there still is a bushing between it and the blank.
I looked at every option I could find before building on the SCV blank and this one seemed to be the best overall. After about a year it is still functioning correctly. The cork has stayed bonded which was a problem with a couple of other Cabela's handles I tried in the past.
