Plano® Custom Divider StowAway® Boxes

These boxes include Versi-Slant™ angled dividers along with standard dividers for extra storage space. All are interchangeable with all Plano hard and soft tackle systems. A secure double-latch front keeps them closed.

Nice to have in the boat, then if you hop in with someone else or are just going to fish from shore throw the boxes in a tackle bag and away you go. Somewhat fragile.

Custom dividers work ok and are built well. After using both, I prefer the Plano Stowaway Utility Boxes vs. the Custom as they are less expensive and a bit thinner.

This is a great container for all kinds of gear. I use it for stick-o's, hooks, weights, crankbaits, etc. I doesn't take up much room, so it's really good for kayaking or when you want to travel light.

the quality is back!

i was a fan of plano boxes from waaay back but have been extremely disappointed by their quality (or lack thereof) the last several years. the last dozen or so plano boxes i've bought have had problems ranging from easily cracked lids, warped separators and lids, ill-fitting dividers and broken hinges and latches. i took a chance on plano again and picked up a few of their 3771 boxes because no one else makes ths size.

all the plastic is straight and thicker than before! there are molded-in ribs on the top and bottom for more rigidity. even the stickers they put on the top and bottom have a new adhesive that comes off cleanly (much better than before). the only place these boxes fall down is that plano still puts the task of cutting and trimming the dividers on the buyer when flambeau does it all for you.
