    Good Bag Very Roomy
    Date:
I bought this bag a week ago because i wanted something that would fit all my gear for fishing trips up north. This bag does just that! The best part about the bag is the VERY large pocket in the middle of the bag. The dimensions are something like 12' L 6" W and most importantly about 6-8 inches deep! This works great for storing those awkward items that sometimes dont fit or fit nicely in other bags such as fishing line, jars with bait, and smaller size boxes. The other nice thing about the bag is that though it is a large bag it is taller than it is long so it takes up less floor space in a boat than many bags with the same interior storage space. I gave it 4 stars because it could use a handle for easy lifting.

I have to give this tackle bag 5 stars because it's the best I've found for what I do. It does have a few small things I'd like to see changed, but I'll get to that later. First the positive; I walk/wade up to a mile or more in some places in a small river, so the fact that I can comfortable hang this on my shoulder is great. It doesn't hang below my hip waders so it stays dry. It holds plenty of baits. Even a nice special storage area for spinner baits. Nice pockets for stuff like tape measure, camera, tools, etc.. I don't have to take it off to get baits out, like I would a backpack. It's fairly light weight. It seems durable. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
The only complaint I have with it is that the zippers on the top two compartments are a little hard to open sometimes due to the bag being saggy. If they would have used velcro to fasten these top two compartments it would be much easier to get baits out and it wouldn't sacrifice it's ability to hold baits securely.
I looked for a long time to find something like this that fits what I do, so I'm perfectly willing to deal with these small inconveniences. If you're into wading small rivers and streams after smallmouth or trout you won't be disappointed with this tackle bag.

    Not for Saltwater use
    Date:
I've had this tackle station, which I use for surf fishing, for about three years and like the other reviewers agree that it can fit a lot of gear. It is somewhat clumsy to get the tackle boxes out of the bottom compartment and it does sag when one or more boxes are removed. I have now come to the point where I need to replace this bag as some of the side compartment pouch zippers are frozen due to exposure to salt and sand. Probably will last longer for those using it for freshwater fishing.

    good bag
    Date:
Got this to stow all my gear on the boat inside the center console. I wanted a soft tackle storage system to prevent scratching of deck and reduce noise. So far I love the system there is a ton of storage and the top is deep enough to store both my fish finders along with the deep spinnerbait box and 4 regular spools of mono - there is a nifty line dispenser in it even to allow you to thread the leader material through it so you can just pull the desired amount out and clip to retie leaders or otherwise rig.
It does droop a little if you take a box out of bottom area, but that is a very minor thing to be sure. I just lay it on it's back to take out boxes if I need to acces a lower box. The cool thing is that you can put one box in very top which has a separate compartment so you can put the box you anticipate using in top for easy access. There appear to be some type of rod holder flaps on back side which could be used for dock fishing if that is your thing - to store extra rod or two.
