this bag takes on water like a burlap sack

can you tell im not happy ? just spend 1/5 hours emptying (in order to dry) everything from two of the largest size of thes "waterproof" bags. i really don't know how the water gets in..i'm sure from the zipper but it appeared water has also com in from other areas. dumped 1" of water from each bag from 1 hr of rain.

i bought as a "bone dry waterproof" bag. it is a waterproof as a burlap sack!!!

A great idea, but it leaks badly in the rain, and as far as I can tell, not thru the zipper. I have had mine several years, but had not had it out in the rain until recently - maybe it has been improved.

NOT WATERPROOF as stated!!!!

Was looking for a dry bag to leave in my boat to hold tackle and other items that go with me on every trip. Wanted something I could just leave in the boat and not have to worry about.

This product seemed to fit the bill but it leaks water into the bag, apparently through the zipper.

Was fishing and opened my bag to retrieve my digital scale to weigh a big catfish. There were 3 inches of water in the bottom of the bag and my $70 scale was ruined! Not sure if my thermocells survived or not.

It holds water like a bucket. What I am saying is that apparently the sides and bottom are waterproof but not the top. Once water gets in it will stay there!

Absolutely worthless for a dry bag! All it did for me was ruin some of my gear!!!!
