Cabela's Salt Striker® Tackle Bag with Plano® Utility Boxes

This bag comes with five Plano ProLatch 3750 boxes with dividers, creating anywhere from four to 27 compartments. Four exterior pockets hold fishing essentials and a zippered, clear interior pocket is perfect for keys or license. Another interior pocket holds your cell phone, GPS or camera. Bag is nylon with non-corrosive zippers and extended foul-weather flaps. The bottom is an extra-deep, high-impact plastic. Rear rubber mesh extermal pocket. Imported.

Great idea, poor quality

Bought this bag not over 6 months ago. Within 2 months stitching around 1 zipper pulled out leaving ripped fabric. I repaired in with heavy needle and thread. Now recently the same thing has happened to 2 other zipper areas. Apparently bag is meant for light use only.... real light. Love most of Cabelas' products so this was truly disappointing. Will have to look elsewhere for replacement.

Bought this as a boat bag for Salmon trolling and it has performed very well in a salt water environment. The big Plano boxes are great and there is lots of room for additional gear.

The bag quality appeared to be excellent, but it did not hold up. The bag has heavy material, waterproof, and lots of storage. After fishing 6 months, the bag material around the zipper sewed area is failing bad. Its nolonger waterproof and will just deteriorate with more use. I like Cabelas products, but this one failed much too soon.
