Micro Chenille

Micro Ultra Chenille is a very densely packed chenille that won't unravel and is harder to crush than regular chenilles. It wraps easily and evenly making perfect uniform bodies for small streamers, nymphs and wet flies. Approximately 1mm. Per 5 yards.
Colors: (L to R) Black, Yellow, Red, White, Brown, Worm Brown, Florescent Orange, Florescent Pink, Chartreuse, Orange, Dark Gray, Olive, Caddis Green, Cream, Dark Olive, Tan.

As a commercial fly tier, I have the pleasure of experimenting with a wide range of material and one of my prime criteria of assessing the value of a product is it's versatility. The multiple applications of Ultra Chenille; ribbing, body material, legging, antennae on larger flies, are but a few of the applications this material offers. Definitely a "must have" for either the casual or serious fly tier.

Micro Chenille is Small ;-)

Cabelas micro chenille is perfect for San Juan worm, maggot cluster and similar annelid patterns. It is significantly stiffer than other chenilles which means that rather than collapsing in water current it holds its shape and still moves naturally.
