These swivels are terrific! I like to use about 8 feet of flurocarbon and the small profile of these swivels allows them to go through the eyes of the rod. They are also extremely strong for their size.

catfishing

I use this product for catfishing. I have never had one fail. The best part is it will cast right through the line guides. Makes for much easier casting and improves accuracy. I use a small bead on it to protect the knot. The bead has a hole just large enough to pass over the knot and the outside is smaller than the swivel. I use plastic beads and counter drill the hole to fit the knot. The bead does not touch the knot.
